Chelsea Good (above), Kansas Farm Bureau, talks about the purpose of Food For Thought.

Last week, Kansas Senator Jerry Moran spoke at Kansas State University’s Dr. Dan Upson Lecture Series. The lecture series was established in 2010 by Food For Thought, a group of Kansas State University students looking to bridge the gap between agriculture and consumers. The group includes undergraduate, graduate and veterinary students, as well as young alumni, and the lecture series is named in honor of Dan Upson, DVM, PhD, professor emeritus of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
