The first ever joint meeting of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) and the Academy of Veterinary Consultants (AVC) Aug. 19-21 in Albuquerque, N.M. was the largest since 2006. Meeting in conjunction with AABP/AVC was the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners.

A total of 1,903 people that included 1,207 veterinarians and students and hundreds of exhibitors and other guests flocked to New Mexico for dozens of hours of beef and dairy veterinary continuing education.
