HAW Dairy in Albuquerque, N.M., has found a new use for the tops from its old inflations.

The tops help to keep the milking machines from squeaking. The dairy cuts the top off of an old inflation and runs the milk line through the hole. The inflation top then sits on the cement curb to help keep the milking equipment snug to the cow’s udder and prevents excess air from getting into the line.
