The International Animal Agriculture and Food Science Conference (IAAFSC) — the joint annual meeting of the American Dairy Science Association, the American Society of Animal Science, the Poultry Science Association and the American Meat Science Association — is scheduled for July 24-28 at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.

The first-time meeting between the four associations serves as a forum for scientists, researchers and students to exchange information and developments in animal agriculture. Some of the highlights of this year’s program include: the latest developments in on-farm ultrafiltration, biotechnology, animal products and the food industry, packaging food and dairy products for extended shelf-life, animal production and the environment, and a dairy case study which describes the decision-making process on a Wisconsin heifer ranch.
