Planting alfalfa isn’t cheap. So before you purchase that seed, check to see how that variety rates in the Alfalfa Council’s latest publication.

“Fall Dormancy & Pest Resistance Ratings for Alfalfa Varieties 2002/2003 Edition” is now available. The booklet contains fall dormancy ratings and pest resistance ratings for more than 250 varieties of alfalfa. The ratings were gathered from the Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies and the National Alfalfa Variety Review Board.
