In order to make breeding more efficient, this dairy created a customized breeding van which can transport a crew of four and all of its supplies. The interior boasts lights, a refrigerator, thaw bath, computer and storage for all of the supplies needed. It even has a generator that automatically kicks in to keep the thaw-bath at the right temperature all of the time. Chris and Mary Kraft, of Fort Morgan, Colo., designed the interior with their kitchen in mind — they wanted to have everything organized and readily accessible without having to go far. Once they had decided on the layout for the interior, they ordered the components and put the interior together on-farm.
