For some people, making decisions is  very easy. For others, it can be a challenge. A new set of tools from David Galligan, economist at the University of Pennsylvania, may be of use to make decisions.

These online visual analytics offer a new way to present analytical problems commonly occurring on dairy herds. These tools can help answer questions, such as: What minimal return should a dollar make when invested in your dairy? What is the marginal cost of producing one more pound of milk? What is the value of adding a cow on your dairy? What is the net present value of a dairy cow?
