Give plastic boots the boot

On-farm biosecurity measures often include the use of disposable plastic boots for visitors. While handy as a means to keep unwanted organisms out of your facilities, and visitors' feet clean, the disposable part of the equation can be a hassle.

This central Wisconsin farm solved the problem by placing a garbage can and sign near the office exit, offering a central collection point for the dairy and a convenient receptacle for visitors.
