Homemade bottle cart

This handy cart allows employees to carry 24 bottles at a time. Employees at Merrick’s Calf Research Farm, Wonewoc, Wis., fashioned it out of an old garden hose reel cart. U-bolts were used to secure a 24-inch by 19-inch piece of fiberglass catwalk material to the top of the cart. One-inch flat iron was welded to create a frame with dividers to support four rows of bottles. The metal frame was then bolted to the catwalk material. The workers estimate that a similar model would cost about $100.
