Joint milk quality conference set

"More Quality For More Profit" is the theme of the National Mastitis Council and the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) joint conference to be held April 9-10 at the Marriott-Madison West in Middleton, Wis.

Producers may choose from one of two short courses - a training workshop for managers with Spanish-speaking milkers or a total approach to quality milk production - which will be offered the afternoon of April 9. General session topics on April 10 include: U.S. milk quality and safety, on-farm practices to keep milk safe, Crohn's disease, cow comfort, prepping cows, choosing teat dips, mastitis myths and breakthrough management.

Registration is $45 per person for each short course. Registration for the general session is $50 per person by April 3 or $55 at the door.
