“Pastures of plenty,” a report from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, compares the financial performance of managed grazing and confinement dairy operations in Wisconsin.

The report also identifies qualities of successful grazing operations and discusses how to make the transition from confinement dairying to managed grazing. It is available from the University of Wisconsin Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems.
