Manure application strategies for alfalfa

A new publication from the University of Wisconsin examines the pros, cons and strategies of applying manure to alfalfa stands. Trends have changed, largely due to regulatory pressure that’s sent producers in search of places to apply manure. The research addresses three specific application plans: pre-plant, topdress and plowdown.
