Master hoof care course set

The Master Hoof Care Technician Program is a three-part training program designed to teach hoof care and trimming to dairy farm employees, veterinarians and other interested individuals.

Taught by veterinarians Jan Shearer, University of Florida, and Sarel Van Amstel, University of Tennessee, participants learn the Dutch method of trimming. Sessions are offered in English and in Spanish. The next session conducted in English will be held March 21-24, and the next session conducted in Spanish will be held March 25-28. Both will be held at the University of Florida.
