Online dairy nutrition class

Advanced dairy nutrition will be offered by the University of Illinois on the Internet starting Jan. 21. The online class covers the nutrients, transition-cow feeding and health, forages, and computer-software programs. The course will be taught by Mike Hutjens and four other faculty members.

Lectures are recorded on CD with an Internet class held for one hour during the 10 weeks of class on Monday nights from 7 to 8 p.m. central standard time. Enrollees can participate for credit by paying U of I tuition or for non-credit with reduced tuition.
