The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin will hold an environmental conference at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point, Wis., Oct. 22 and 23.
The agenda features a look at smart growth in agriculture, economical low-phosphorus rations, dealing with odors, nutrient management planning, buffer strips and pathogen transmission. A series of farm and industry tours also will offer a glimpse of how other producers deal with environmental challenges.
