Pioneer Hi-bred International has launched the Pioneer Forage Forum at its Web site. At the site, Bill Mahanna, manager of forage products and nutritional sciences, discusses a new topic about every two weeks that you can listen to. You also can access past files and submit questions for Mahanna to answer. Some of the topics already covered include: transitioning to new crop corn silage, managing high-moisture corn, and results from a snaplage trial.

To access the forage forum, you will need to register at the Pioneer site. (You don’t have to be a Pioneer customer.) Go to:  to register. Once signed in, select the “Livestock Nutrition” tab at the top of the page and then select “Forage Blog.”
