Experts at Ohio State University have teamed up with a local law office to develop a self-study estate planning course that you can complete at your own pace.
Lessons include: strategies for transferring assets, setting up a will, using trusts and insurance options, just to name a few. Although the examples have been tailored to Ohio laws, the materials will give you a general idea of how to use each of the tools no matter where you live.
The course is available in several different options, including weekly e-mail lessons, or having all 12 of the lessons mailed to you at once. Cost varies from $15 to $30, depending on the delivery method you choose.
