Looking to sharpen your employee management skills?

Don Tyler, Profitable Solutions, Clarks Hill, Ind., is planning a series of educational seminars suitable for anyone on the dairy with supervisory responsibilities. Topics include: tips to increase the number of job applicants, interview questions that expose motivation and attitude, writing job descriptions, developing employee policies, improving performance evaluations, handling employee conflicts, dealing with difficult people, training and orientation, improving communication skills and becoming an employer of choice.

The seminars will be held during the first few months of the year. However, dates and locations have not yet been set. That way, says Tyler, the locations can be set to better accommodate the people who have expressed interest in attending.
