A new bulletin from the Natural Resource, Agriculture, and Engineering Service (NRAES) provides guidelines for special-fed (formula-fed) veal production.

The guide covers veal calf health, housing and economics. The guide describes components and requirements of a special-fed veal production system that minimizes calf stress, while growing a product that the market demands.
