Dairy robot can fractionate milk on farm

In an effort to help producers extract more value from the milk they produce, researchers in New Zealand have created a dairy robot that can separate out high-value proteins and fats on farm for use in the neutraceutical industry. So far, the robot has been proven to successfully extract lactoferrin and lactoperoxidase from milk. And the milk can still be used to make other dairy products.
