With animal and food traceability issues increasing in significance, a new digitized data management technology — Authentix Forms — has been developed to help dairy and other livestock managers keep track of vital individual animal and herd information. The system enables users to transfer written health records into useable computer files via an electronic pen that reads the data without manually inputting the information.

It offers a means to verify birth records, health treatments, ration data, animal and supply shipment methods and animal processing activities to food industry partners and consumers. The system collects and stores the data for internal inspections and third-party audits.
