Researchers can now determine sources of brucellosis infections, even wildlife.

Researchers have developed a new DNA-fingerprinting technique that can identify strains of brucellosis through differences in their DNA sequences. This tool can help scientists quickly determine the source of a brucellosis infection — even if it came from wildlife.
