Alaska health officials have updated their health advisory as more cases of Campylobacter infections linked to raw milk are confirmed.

Initially, health officials reported that people on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska were sickened by Campylobacter infections from raw milk. Two more people, among them an infant, were suspected of having contracted infections, as well. Click here to read more.

Just a week after initially issuing the advisory, the number of confirmed cases has now jumped to 18, and officials expect this number to rise. Two people have required hospitalization.
