AFBF launches social media campaign to ‘Ditch the Rule’

The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) has launched a social media campaign to “Ditch the Rule,” opposing a proposed rule from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that will expand federal regulation of navigable waters.

The proposed law, which calls these “waters of the U.S,” is a broad expansion of the types of waters and lands that would be subject to federal permit requirements.

AFBF, other agricultural organizations and individuals are using the hashtag #DitchTheRule to show opposition to the rule on social media networks. Be sure to use the hashtag when you post, tweet or blog about the campaign.
