We visited AGCO’s Jackson, Minn., Intivity Center in July 2014 and had time to test-drive some of their latest models, tour the plant’s 30,0000 square foot expansion, and watch how they test their equipment before it hits the showroom floor.

Their new release was the Challenger MT500E series of row-crop tractors. These new tractors have Tier-4 Final six cylinder engines, a new front axle suspension promising a smoother ride, and a cooling package to provide better airflow. The MT500E series comes in 5 models ranging from 185 to 255 maximum engine horsepower.
