Cull cow prices top $1.20/lb.

Estimated U.S. August 2014 cull cow prices (beef and dairy combined) averaged $121.00/cwt., according to the USDA/NASS Ag Prices report. The average is up $6.00/cwt. from July’s revised estimate, and $37.10/cwt. more than August 2013.Year-to-date, the cull cow price has averaged $104.34/cwt., up $22.05 from January-August 2013.
