Food Network Magazine recommends best ice cream in each state

Whether from a tub, in a cone or with some root beer, summer is all about ice cream.

While most people aren’t picky about their ice cream on hot nights, Food Network Magazine has searched and selected the best ice cream in each of the 50 states.

Food Network Magazine recently spotlighted the ice cream from South Dakota State University’s dairy sales bar of the Davis Dairy Plant. SDSU makes its ice cream—“from cow to cone”—on campus. It claims to be the original creator of Cookies ‘n’ Cream ice cream. The flavor is called “legendary” and “worth the fuss.” Read more here.
