Earlier this year India banned all milk and milk products entering their country from China, due to the presence of melamine, a substance used to make plastic and fertilizer.

India has now extended the ban another year. The original discussed ban would have only restricted Chinese milk imports through June 23, 2014, but will now go through June 23, 2015.

For more information on the ban, see the report here.
