The Journal of Dairy Science (JDS) again fared well in the annual Thomson Reuters Impact Factor rankings, according to a release by the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) president Al Kertz, today.

JDS ranked second in Impact Factor for the agriculture, dairy, and animal science category for 2013, but first in the Eigenfactor Score, which removes self-citations, and first also in total citations. It also ranked 24 of 123 journals by Impact Factor in the broader Food Science and Technology category, and third for Eigenfactor Score in that category.

JDS published 7,429 scientific pages in 2012 and 8,134 pages in 2013.
