Mark Stephenson, Director of Dairy Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Bob Cropp, dairy economics professor emeritus, digest the latest  monthly Milk Production report. Feed quality is leading to the modest growth in milk production per cow in the Midwest.

Demand is maintaining strength, export news remains good and dairy farmer margins are large thanks to declining corn prices.  Prices may be coming down, but we have to keep them in perspective.
