This is not surprising given Nixon's politics. Really? This was vetoed over who regulates the white tailed deer that are overrunning the state? You have to love it. Politicians wielding a veto pin and stopping progress in order to keep from offending the bureaucrats over at the Department of Fish and Wildlife or placating those who have deeper feelings about the bunnies and squirrels than the average Joe.
