Fueled by the Healthy Eating retail promotion and Free Grocery Sweepstakes, the checkoff-funded Veal Made Easy Facebook page has earned more than 500 followers. The Facebook page debuted Jan. 31, 2012 and continues to build awareness and spark positive conversations – capturing an average of eight new “likes/friends” daily.
The checkoff will continue to build on the success of the initial launch of the Veal Made Easy social media program with frequent posts on seasonal events, such as Easter and Passover meal planning and featured veal dishes when dining out throughout the spring. In addition, the veal marketing program is launching a Veal Made Easy Twitter handle this month.
