The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is offering an evening workshop on Wednesday, April 25, in Oshkosh, designed to provide dairy owners, Hispanic managers and middle managers with the knowledge and skill set to improve communication and understanding on the dairy.

Trainer Dr. Noa Roman-Muniz, a dairy specialist with Colorado State University, will head the workshop. In addition to presenting a “Bridging Cultures” session, Roman-Muniz will moderate a four-member panel, “Communication: Building the Two-Way Bridge,” comprised of two Hispanic mid-managers and two U.S.-born dairy owners.
Panelists will provide insight regarding how communication/miscommunication affects employee performance and will share tools and techniques owners/managers can use to ensure effective communication with Hispanic employees.
