MADISON, N.J. — Pfizer Animal Health is increasing the expertise and services available to its customers by adding three professionals to its Cattle Veterinary Operations Team — Lance Fox, DVM; Mark Branine, Ph.D.; and Brad Morgan, Ph.D.

“We are excited to bring these experienced cattle professionals into our organization,” says Roger Saltman, DVM, MBA, group director, Cattle Veterinary Operations, Pfizer Animal Health. “Our team prides itself on having firsthand experience to help other veterinarians, nutritionists and producers across the country make sound animal health decisions.”

Dr. Fox lives in New London, Wisc., and will bring his expertise in calf and heifer management to his work with dairies across the country as a senior veterinarian on the Cattle Veterinary Operations Team. A Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Fox spent years in private practice in the state before consulting in the veal industry. His most recent position was as a dairy technical service manager with Alpharma Animal Health.

With a focus on Pfizer Animal Health’s beef clients as a senior nutritionist, Dr. Branine is based in Canon City, Colo. He has worked for SmithKline Beecham Animal Health, Roche Animal Nutrition and Health, and Alpharma Animal Health in clinical development, applied research and technical services. Dr. Branine also spent six years with Cactus Feeders as the operations manager for Cactus Research LLC.

Food Safety and Production Enhancement Specialist Dr. Morgan is based in Stillwater, Okla. He previously served on the faculties of Texas A&M University, Colorado State University and Oklahoma State University. Dr. Morgan currently serves on the board of directors of the American Meat Science Association.

“The additional knowledge these individuals contribute, along with a great passion for the industry, will help increase the range of our service to our customers,” Dr. Saltman says.
