Producers benefit from keeping SCC counts down

In response to the demands of the world market, the regulations restricting somatic cell counts in milk production may well tighten up in the years ahead. Lower SCC's should always be an objective in each dairy operation anyway, according to K-State dairy specialist Mike Brouk. And he says that, new regulations or not, producers benefit from keeping those counts down.
