“This is the best milk I’ve ever had in my life.”
That’s the reaction of one television host after sampling milk from a regional dairy near Kansas City, Mo.
Over the weekend, the “Home & Family” show on the Hallmark Channel featured the Missouri-based Shatto Milk Co., front and center as part of their “Small Town Big Deals” segment. The hosts were especially impressed by Shatto’s flavor lineup, which includes innovative flavors such as root beer, cotton candy, pumpkin spice eggnog, banana, and coffee.
The hosts also looked at Shatto’s old-fashioned glass bottles and flavors helped push the dairy to become a regional favorite.
“After three months, they had double their herd,” one of the hosts said. “And then three months after that, they had double their herd again.”
Many of Shatto’s fans took to their Facebook page to sing their praise for the dairy, including:
“Now the world is going to know how awesome Shatto milk is!!”
“It's great to see others get excited about the delicious milk you provide to KC. The shirts added a an extra something.”
The episode didn’t include the dairy’s special-edition flavors released in 2013 in celebration of the 10th anniversary. These limited-edition flavors included Birthday Cake, Blueberry, Chocolate Cherry, Mint Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Apple Pie and Candy Corn.
