Who moved my cheese vans?

That was the question officials with Tillamook County Creamery Association were asking Saturday morning, when three of their VW cheese buses were stolen overnight from a hotel parking lot in Manteca, Calif. Their Loaf Love Tour team was on the way to continue promoting Tillamook cheese.

But, with the help of cheese lovers the world over, the vans were found safe and sound near in a storage unit yesterday. Police credited the spread of news through the west coast in helping find the vans. The VWs were small enough to fit sideways within the storage units, as shown in pictures at sfgate.com.

Two Sacramento men were arrested in connection with the robbery.
