A strong storm system tore through the southern Plains on Monday, spawning multiple tornadoes that ripped through Oklahoma. One tornado destroyed an Oklahoma dairy farm, a home and an Oklahoma State extension field office. Officials report that two people and a dog were briefly trapped in a cellar though no people were reported injured.

Reuters reports according to Jeff Rector, emergency manager for Tillman County, Okla., no people were injured but an underdetermined number of cows were caught in the twister and killed when the dairy farm was hit.

The quarter-mile tornado was on the ground for 25 minutes before it continued north.
