The USDA’s milk production quarterly producer surveys will resume beginning on Oct. 1, according to a statement released by the department on Wednesday.
Starting in late September, the USDA will mail survey forms to producers and release the data on Oct. 21.
The move comes more than 6 months after the USDA suspended it and several other reports in the wake of automatic federal budget cuts. However, the department reversed its decision to suspend its monthly milk production report and announced it would provide partial milk production estimates through September. Read more here.
