This year’s World Dairy Expo adds 130 exhibit spaces in its temporary space in front of the Exhibition Hall.

The 26,000 square foot Trade Center is a tent with side walls, windows and glass doors. The new area with borrow space from the Outdoor Trade Mall and some parking space. Demand for indoor booth space convinced organizers to add the temporary space for the 2012 expo.

“World Dairy Expo management is optimistic that the Alliant Energy Center will expand over time.” says Sales Manager, John Rozum.

The World Dairy Expo attracts more than 65,000 visitors from 90 countries. This year’s show, with the theme “Market Fresh,” is scheduled for Oct. 2-6.

The tent is provided by the same company supplying the more than 100,000 square feet of temporary cattle housing.
