KLA: Next in series of economic summits to focus on animal agriculture

Gov. Sam Brownback will host an Economic Summit on Animal Agriculture September 28 in Garden City. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to provide input to guide the Brownback administration as it works to support Kansas agriculture.

The summit will address three overarching issues. Participants will discuss how Kansas can best retain current farms, ranches and agribusinesses. Those in attendance also will discuss how Kansas can foster growth in the agriculture sector. A third question to be answered at the event is how the state can recruit out-of-state or out-of-country ag businesses to relocate to Kansas.

KLA will be actively engaged in this summit. To register, click here.
