Vance Publishing Corporation’s Protein Division has realigned its digital products to provide industry-leading, in-depth, species-focused content. Subscribers can now connect with the species business information via daily, weekly, ALERT and monthly e-newsletters as well as species specific websites. The purchase of CattleNetwork in July 2008 was the first step in this realignment process in which CattleNetwork’ss business model was replicated to the other divisional properties.

Marketers are already finding this to be of exceptional value as they can now effectively connect with their target customers when and how they desire. Additionally, Vance has invested in the ability to deliver all types of rich media and targeted advertiser messaging as well as exceptional research and analytical reporting.

“This is another significant business move for Vance Publishing,” reports Vice President and Publishing Director, Protein Division, Tim Tobeck. “It reinforces our position as the premier business-to-business multi-media communications resource in the markets we serve. We will continue to pursue opportunities that will increase services to our customers and strengthen our existing product lines.”

This is Vance's first divisional realignment; other divisions will soon follow. Included in Vance's Protein group: DroversCattleNetwork, DairyHerdNetwork and PorkNetwork plus the division’s print publications, Drovers, Dairy Herd Management, Bovine Veterinarian, Ag Professional and Pork magazines, web sites, e-newsletters, and the Doane forecasting and analysis product line marketed to the agricultural community.

Vance Publishing Corporation is headquartered in Lincolnshire, Ill., with offices in Lenexa, Kan. and St. Louis, Mo. Since its founding in 1937, Vance Publishing has been a recognized leader in business information and communications. The company serves select business-to-business markets with 20 magazines, a host of e-newsletters, web offerings, events, data and custom media products.
