Ohio cow named champion of Ayrshire Junior Show

Tanner Topp of Wooster, Ohio exhibited Conebella Sarge’s Wendy, the 2011 Grand Champion of the International Ayrshire Junior Show at World Dairy Expo on opening day.   Conebella Sarge’s Wendy was the first junior of the Ayrshire Four-Year-Old Cow class. Reserve Grand Champion Female of the Junior Show went to Maple-Dell Poker Spade-ET exhibited by Derek Patrick, of Woodbine, Maryland.  Maple-Dell Poker Spade-ET was the first place Junior in the Ayrshire Junior Three-Year-Old Cow class.   Topp received the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award presented by Udder Comfort of Williamsburg, Ontario.  Judge Justin Burdette, Mercersburg, PA and Associate Judge Sean Johnson, Glenville, PA placed 236 Ayrshires today, 82 of which were Juniors.
