USDA 2011 Agricultural Outlook Forum, Feb. 24-25

USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack, former President Bill Clinton, Senator Debbie Stabenow, and Chief Economist Joseph Glauber are among the plenary speakers at USDA’s 2011 Agricultural Outlook Forum to be held Feb. 24-25 in Arlington, Va. The dinner speaker is C. Fred Bergsten, director of the Peter G. Peterson Institute for International Economics. The Forum theme is ‘Today’s Strategies & Tomorrows Opportunities’.

Following the plenary session, experts in 25 breakout sessions will discuss a broad range of topical issues related to risk management, renewable energy, rural communities, foreign trade & domestic markets, conservation and the environment, nutrition and USDA Dietary Guidelines, land tenure issues, broadband, and sustainability.
