Youth compete in World Dairy Expo Showmanship Contest
Over 267 youth participated in the 2011 World Dairy Expo Youth Showmanship Contest Thursday evening in the Coliseum. This event features three age brackets for youth to measure their cattle exhibiting skills. Junior showmen range in age from 9 years to 12 years, intermediate competitors are 13 to 15 years old and the senior showmanship division is open to 16 to 21 year old individuals.

Robotic milking here to stay

He exhibited the Grand Champion Female on the Central National Junior Jersey Show for the third consecutive year at World Dairy Expo. South Mountain Voltage Spice-ET was the first place junior in the Junior-Three-Year-Old Cow class and earned Sauder the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award.

World Dairy Expo: Ohio cow tops Junior Milking Shorthorn Show
Mi-San Acres O Lust-ET, exhibited by David Riley of Williamsfield, Ohio wins the International Junior Milking Shorthorn Show at the 2011 World Dairy Expo and the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Cash Award. Lust was the winner of the Senior-Two Year Old Cow class.
