The CBS news magazine, “60 Minutes” will examine the water crisis in California as part of its broadcast this coming Sunday evening.

Sources in California say the national exposure will be helpful.

“Elevating the crisis to the national level will help… the point that we all try to make is how important this is to our food supply,” Sarah Woolf, of the Westlands Water District, told KMJ Radio in Fresno, Calif.
