Ad knocks HSUS during Academy Awards

An ad warning consumers about the Humane Society of the United States (and its fund-raising techniques) aired Sunday night during the Academy Awards.

“You should know that only one penny of every dollar donated goes to local pet shelters,” viewers were told.

The ad went on to advise them to give their money to local animal shelters rather than the HSUS.
