Lights…camera…muck boots?

Sharon Hatcher was named as one of the three finalists of the “Wake Up With Al” contest, and next week celebrity meteorologist Al Roker will be headed to her family’s dairy in College Grove, Tenn., for a live weather broadcast.

See Hatcher, her husband Charlie and daughter Jennifer speak with Roker on the “Today Show” in the video clip above.

According to the Tennessean,  Roker will visit their farm on May 8. The segment will air at 5:00 a.m. CDT on The Weather Channel.  Read more.

The dairy’s fans took to Facebook to praise Hatcher and her family.

“Congrats to the Hatchers! What a great thing! Hopefully the national exposure will lead to a greater demand for FARM STRONG and all your milk products,” one fan commented.

“Looking forward to watching Al milk a cow next week,” another comment added.

Many in the industry may already be familiar with Charlie Hatcher and Jennifer Hatcher. Both are working veterinarians at Rock N Country Veterinarian Services on the farm and have been featured several times in Bovine Veterinarian magazine, including “‘Best practices’ good for all” and “So you want to be a mentor?
