BRI open house offers look into NBAF

All livestock producers who would like to get firsthand information about the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) are invited to Manhattan April 16. The Biosecurity Research Institute (BRI) at Pat Roberts Hall will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as part of K-State’s annual open house. NBAF is being built on the hill east of BRI.

Visitors can participate in question and answer sessions with Julie Brewer, the NBAF program manager from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Other activities include demonstrations and virtual tours of the facility.
