Considering forage sorghums

Corn silage is the forage of choice for many dairy producers. However, the cost of planting corn for silage has gone up. And this might give pause for a producer to consider alternative forage possibilities, according to K-State dairy specialist Mike Brouk. One option he advises producers to think about is forage sorghum, which he discusses this week.
